Consultation / Upcoming Events
Consultation will be conducted for the full duration of the studies. Following the initial Notice of Study Commencement letters, including two (2) local newspaper advertisements, one (1) online Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held following the identification of alternatives for intersection improvements.
The public will have an opportunity to comment, during the online PIC, and via the project website, before the selection of the preferred alternative. Discussions and correspondence with stakeholders including the public, local residents and businesses, federal departments, provincial ministries, agencies, Indigenous communities, cultural groups and the local municipality will take place at this time and throughout the studies.
Upon selection of the preferred design alternatives, draft Design and Construction Report (DCR) will be prepared and made available on the project website for public review and comment. The final DCRs will remain available on the project website for twelve (12) months.
